Rain
I understood what my sojourn would bring,
At that haven of eternal spring
In my persistence, you kept your distance,
And yet, I regret not a thing
On coffee town hills and a green landscape,
A new future began to take shape
Made of gliding spins, and red violins,
The deluge outside, our escape
Through an Andean gauntlet, I tried,
To resolve the conflict inside
Did all the math, to align each path,
Finally, had to decide
There are nights when I join you again,
We’re talking, laughing, no pain
Yet come the dawn, it’s truly gone,
All that’s left…just the rain
The Signal
Ordeals
